One of the best parts about Rift Valley Academy is that children have the freedom to run, climb trees, play in the mud, and just be kids. While we are thankful for the playground equipment that we have, we desire for there to be more play options. Since RVA is a boarding school, the elementary students would use this equipment not only during recess time at school, but after school and on the weekends. Additionally, those of us who stay at home with our preschoolers have very limited options for entertainment. The existing playground is too advanced for them and therefore is not the best option for play. Also, having the preschoolers there during school hours is very distracting for those in school. Having a separate preschool playground where moms and kids could go anytime during the day would be such a blessing.
In addition to our students, RVA hosts national kids at various times throughout the term. Having a playground would be another way we could love the children in our community.
